The objective of our Health & Safety policy is to deliver its obligations under Health and Safety legislation and its aim is to reduce the accidents and minimize health and safety risks to all employees and other people who may be affected by our activities.

Lumena Ltd actively promotes safe working habits amongst its employees and assists its employees in understanding their own duties in relation to health and safety in the workplace through thorough training procedures.

Lumena Ltd believes that healthy and accident free working environment improves morale among our employees and motivates them to cooperate with their line managers in Health & Safety issues. Our customers have full confidence in the Health & Safety systems in place as each site is individually evaluated with risk assessments and method statements.

Our colour coded equipment (following BICs instructions) was implemented to reduce the risk of cross contamination. Our Health & Safety arrangements and the commitment to our employees to take reasonable care of themselves and others contributed towards achieving the National Britannia Safe Contractor Certification. .Lumena Ltd is currently working towards achieving the nationally recognized certification OHSAS 18001.
